KENYA'S ODM RALLY CALLED OFF, KIBAKI ACCEPTS TERMS



Kenya's opposition leader Raila Odinga has called off Thursday's mass protests after meeting ex-UN head Kofi Annan.

Mr Annan also met with Othaya MP, Mwai Kibaki in a bid to salvage suspended talks on Tuesday and Kibaki accepted the post of A prime Minister be created for Raila.

At the time of writing this, Tanzanian president, Kikwete, also the African Union chairman is at Harambee house meeting with Kibaki.

Again, ODM Godffrey Majiwa has been appointed as the new Nairobi Mayor.
