| The government has ordered regional coordinators and County
Commissioners to enforce the "Nyumba KUMI" plan, a community policing
initiative. INTERIOR CABINET SECRETARY JOSEPH OLE LENKU SAYS that under
the programme, all villages will be required to restructure into 10
households under a clear leadership that will be responsible for
security. It is reported than it is a plan the government believes
will curb insecurity in the Country. |
