KENYA SOMALI CENSUS RESULTS HAVE GROSSLY BEEN REDUCED: IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE OVER 3 MILLION PERSONS

Parliamentarians from North Eastern Kenya and other pastoralist communities have threatened to move to Kenya courts, to push for the nullification of the whole Kenya census results after the cancellation of census results in 8 districts in North Eastern and Turkana. Kenya's Planning Minister Wycliffe Oparanya said a repeat census had been ordered in the affected areas, a move that has angered the lawmakers, who claimed that the Somali community was being marginalized.
