I think it is not OK to talk about issues which can violate the spirit of Ramadhaan but I liked the Somali traditional folk songs performed in Ethiopia, notably, Heerimahee, which we are missing in Kenya for sometime now. The Kenyan Somalis used to play a version that goes by the name, Saar
We used to have folk songs which are disappearing and we need to do something. We had this " Heerimahe" thing in Kenya also but not now. Even Bomas of Kenya doesn't have any Somali troupe performing Folk.
We have to keep our culture alive in Kenya by all means.
